Tariffs were dumb but Iran is in another universe when it comes to mistakes. Hopefully now all Iran War cheerleaders here will admit they were wrong. Iran has to be laughing at Trump right now.

Personally? I don't think the Iran war was the wrong decision. Could and should have been prosecuted better, certainly, but I have no objections to the concept. Of course, I also have no objections to the Republican party in general taking a hiding, and Trump specifically, so...

There was no way it could have been prosecuted better. The way things turned out was inherent to the military reality of the situation.

Big, basic parts of that, which seemed to be surprises to the people in charge, were also knowable ahead of time.

Yes, agreed that Iran is significantly worse as far as self-inflicted wounds. It took Americans feeling the pain in their pocketbooks to actually turn against Trump.

Trump: The Ayatollah must go!

Ayatollah: Who must go?

Trump: Ack!

All the was has done is to make Ayatollah Khamenei, Supreme Leader if the Islamic Republic of Iran, 30 years younger as well as given him plenty of very personal reasons to hate Trump and Rs.
