When I saw that I wondered why a token predictor was being presented as better than just guessing. Our brains are somewhat decent estimating machines. Not sure what value a LLM token predictor is adding to this.
He found a solution less trustworthy than "I made it up" (as reasonable back of the envelope order of magnitude estimates).

I watched the video. His tight lipped grin is not a good look. Smarmy.
I thought he wears makeup, but google won't confirm. A guy born with natural eyeliner? Maybe? Some of the Indians I know have really dark regions around their eyes. That's just their DNA and not relevant to their trustworthiness. This guy is ethnically middle eastern and looks that way.
He is not worse than people of Walmart or the devil from Constantine. Not a great look, but not terrible. If his resting look was anything other than that tight grin he'd be fine.
I'm not saying you should go out of your way looking for hypothetically bisexual women. I'm saying bi shouldn't be an automatic deal breaker. If a woman is living a hetero life, it isn't much relevant that she (performatively?) identifies as bi. She's probably more announcing that she is a good progressive than that she would ever be in a relationship with another woman. I find such people annoying and would not date one. Young single men should evaluate them on a case by case basis. Those two I knew in high school and college had men in their lives who didn't seem to mind.

I suppose. But that applies equally for these forever single young men. There's an opposite framing of modern dating issues in which young men are less and less going to college, getting good careers or even stable employment and more playing video games and watching porn. We have a loser young men epidemic.
There's some problem with unrealistic standards on both sides. I don't know how to fix this though. If only we could tell people "You are a 4 out of 10. Here's a list of single people in your area who are also 4s. You think they are too fat, too short, over 30, don't make enough, too many partners, lame hobbies, too woke, chuds, etc? Too bad, this is your level. This or single are your choices."

I knew a girl in high school that self identified as bisexual. She was in a long term relationship with a guy.
Then in college in the dorms there was a very similar woman. Same exact personality and interests. For some reason also felt the need to inform people she meets that she is bisexual. Also in a long term relationship with a man. This is before social media, so it wasn't internet brainrot.
There's some portion of women that are hypothetically bisexual. Or we could frame it negatively and say they are performatively pretending to be "queer" as stolen valor from actual LGB people. Refusing to admit that they are regular straight people; "cishet".
That does not prevent them from pairing up with men. I found those two women annoying. I suppose I'd find a modern "demisexual" "pansexual" woman who got her identity from tumblr similarly annoying. But that shouldn't be a universal filter. Any man who can resist rolling his eyes while she recites her "actually it is a spectrum" speech can live a productive hetero life with her.
As for age: men's age preferences are well known The cowards at okcupid deleted their blog post that chart was taken from. If there is indeed such a desperate shortage of high quality 20-something women willing to date, then date women in their lower to mid 30s. Up to mid 30s they can have kids no problem.

When I was young there was a trend among Mexican teenagers to pluck out their eyebrows and draw a brown mark approximately where the eyebrow should be. It looked horrible. Beyond forgivable. And the natural look of the Mexican girls is quite good. They were running their looks.
I don't see so much of it these days. The dark times have mostly passed.

They had internal polling that adjusted for the longstanding bias in polls for overestimating Democratic performance. Given that adjustment, Romney would have won big in the electoral college.
That adjustment was not valid for Obama. Polls broadly correctly estimated Obama's performance. He is not the median Democrat and applying a "median Democratic candidate" correction factor was a bad idea.
Obviously Romney loses. But he and his staffers are blindsided. Supposedly he didn't even have a concession speech written, because he was certain he was going win Florida and a handful of swing states.

Show your support for the ingroup by rolling coal on the outgroup. Doing whatever enrages them the most. Then only travel with a team of armed security and only 'publicly' present yourself in closed secure venues.

Yeah, legislative representatives should be immune to legal punishment for their speech. Imagine if a legislator gave a fiery speech and then was sued for slander or censured and stripped of voting power. That's not a well functioning government.

His incredulous criticism of free markets is inadvertently a correct statement of their overwhelming strength. He just didn't get it.
Someone not grown up indoctrinated in this ideology thinks it is preposterous. Sure you can train a 17 year old to recite the truths of free markets. Or recite a Soviet ideological statement about socialism. The free market version happens to be correct. But learned thoughtful people have denounced it as false.
I read Orwell's assertions about how actually markets are bad and central planning is better. He's wrong, but not due to ignorance. You in a time machine couldn't convert him to laissez faire market ideology.

They have lots of languages in China. Most Chinese people historically didn't speak Mandarin and had no use for Mandarin speech transcribed one phoneme at a time. Characters that mean entire words are quite useful as a common written language in a nation that is so pluralistic that most people lack a common spoken language with people outside of their local region.
This is true even in the modern era. Chairman Mao learned Mandarin as an adult and it shows in his strange accent and phrasing. Like almost everyone, he grew up speaking his local language, not a common national language. But any text written by any Chinese person would be understood by him.
Today Chinese schools demand students speak the common language in class. Outside of school many still speak in local languages which are entirely different than Mandarin. I've seen shanghaiese people switch to shanghaiese to prevent people from other regions and foreigners from understanding them. Rudely right in front of everyone obviously talking about us.
But yeah, bit odd they didn't think to also make a phoneme based script so they could write out their local languages. I was going to say they actually have that, but Google tells me that was invented in the 20th century. And even the Koreans had periods in which hangul was banned and all writing was mandatory Chinese only.

In terms of my time: self checkout is so clearly faster. I can wait in line a long time, or do it myself real quick.
Years ago self checkout machines were terrible about weight checking. Now they are very forgiving. I assume they made them very numb to decrease their false positive rate.
Found the solution to the Fermi paradox: negative utilitarians of such extremity that they sterilize all possible life to prevent the suffering of dust mites and other microscopic bugs and that means all animals. Yes, especially bugs.
Yes, the Cambodian genocide and the American Civil War are examples of a significant minority of society getting stamped out. But you can't do that easily. And that was a large majority crushing a relatively small minority.
If you tried to do that to a significant majority (around 70% support for first trimester abortion) maybe it is you that would be taken before a firing squad.
