I don't understand why the right is so opposed to it.
Same reason we don't use the metric system:

This is overstating it a bit, but there is some portion of America that opposed the metric system and opposes things like national IDs or implantable payment chips as being "the mark of the beast". The beast being a seven-headed monstrous enemy of God. Or at least symbolically represented as such.

Being able to create real life Manchurian Candidates would be extremely valuable. If you could transform captured communists into sleeper agents. If it were real it would be a great weapon to use against our enemies.
But also yes, a nightmare if it existed and inevitably wound up being used on regular people.

Congress is so passive that presidents end up enacting policy through rather strained interpretations of existing law. The law says they get to impose processing fees? Then instead of $250 it is $100k. And then hope courts agree this is valid.

I'd go further and let them take any job at any employer. Assuming the new employer will sponsor them. I think tying people to their jobs is generally bad. And if the market determines such a person is suited for a different job title with more or different responsibilities then they should be allowed to do it. The fact that they have to ask bureaucrats for permission to professionally grow by accepting new job titles with more or different responsibilities is horrible.
For instance, supposedly decades ago Massachusetts' enforceable non-compete contracts slowed their tech industry growth and resulted in California overtaking them. Locking employees into their jobs is enforced stagnation and yet another scheme to push down wages. Such contracts were greatly restricted in scope in 2018 and completely banned last year. Good riddance.

I can talk about the true reasons in polite society: it undercuts wages and makes an underclass of workers who effectively cannot leave their jobs. It is an attack on the wages of a subset of professional workers.

Yes. I recall long ago seeing early youtube videos about doctors detailing Israeli atrocities. Turns out they were fake and the doctors were lying. This has been somewhat common for a couple decades that I'm aware of.

Shots so precise they choose which body part gets the bullet consistently correct and the kids are surviving day after day racking up bullet wounds? And we're to credulously believe this?
This tells me little about Israeli snipers and much about the credibility of de Volkskrant. Rather puts a stink on other similarly crazed stories. But maybe those other ones are true and this happens to be a single deranged lie smuggled into a list of true stories. Maybe.

Visas are a privilege with many restrictions. These people have no right to be here and can enjoy celebrating the murder of Americans in their home country. We don't need them to do that here.

They played a bunch of clips of him on the radio yesterday. Not his "gotcha" "dunking on libs" stuff but instead him compassionately talking to trans people and talking about the importance of faith. Stuff like that. There's so much content from him that it's easy to get a collection of kind and thoughtful sentiments.
I think the reason some media networks are not playing such clips is that for example he listened to a distressed young woman with gender confusion asking about how young of children should be given HRT and he advised her to seek counseling rather than take hormones. Thoughtfully and compassionately. That kind of talk ain't allowed on MSNBC.

Come on now. That's not what happened. Poor guy had a blood clot in his brain. He was fine. Feeling good, other than irritation from residual pepper spray and a headache that was getting worse. As confirmed by his text messages to his family. Then dead. Deadly blood clots are not caused by J6.
He died a bit afterwards from an unrelated health issue.
But I actually think most school administrators are not productive in a "positive net value of their labor" sense. There's been a multi-hundred percent increase in school administrators in the past few decades. There's some correct level of administration and then there's the Iron Law of Institutions run wild. I think we are far into the second case regarding public school administration.
