School districts as a group resist adopting the best pedagogical practices to prevent enough improvement in student outcomes for the public/lawmakers to conclude they don't need more money.
They resist Direct Instruction at lower levels because it's very happy-clappy/scripted and the teachers hate it.
They avoid hardcore tracking and generalized testing out of subjects because of ideological reasons. This is despicable.
They do not contemplate individual full tutorial because of budget, but would admit from their classroom size model that it's probably better, just not contemplating that it's hypothetically two standard deviations better.

One thing I'd add is that past examples like good advice or straight up having the cash to assist with certain major purchases, parents can further advantage their kids. They add their underage children (or of age, but that's less relevant) as an authorized user to a specific credit card. Paid in full, on time, utilizing ~7-15% of limit, and increasing limit every 6 months-year... kid could reach adulthood with a perfect score and many years of reliable history.
This knowledge is becoming more common in various different populations- my upper middle class friends' parents who worked in accounting/finance did this for their kids about 20 years ago (mine did not), but I recently had an uber driver who had been doing this for his teenagers.
I expect as underage credit building becomes more common, young adult scores will become less indicative of ability to pay, though I imagine fuckups will ruin their own scores quickly enough for the system to correct things. I expect said fuckups will be a central example of how credit is a privilege based system, though it's more of a loophole exploit that didn't substantially exist for most of the system's history.

Having delivered Amazon Flex throughout greater Birmingham for a few years(never as far as college town proper, but Brookwood/Vance one unlucky game day night), I'd say even the sketchiest areas are "merely uncomfortable" during daytime, but I hated taking runs to particular neighborhoods after dark. If I had a 4 hour run with 1 hour going after dark, I could adjust schedule to be less efficient but finish those areas early. My dad worked the 2010 census around here and hated the idea of going to some of those places at night. Only time I had a gun directly pointed at me was in Remlap, older guy thought only a meth-head would be driving to his trailer at night while raining, a not especially wrong belief. I just wish he had held it, safety off at his side and not stood in position with it levelled at me.
The few times people people aggressively approached me when outside my car and I just said "I don't carry cash and don't get tips. I'm pretty sure what's in my car is mostly books, dog food, and diapers." and they'd laugh or mutter and do something else.
Najeh getting murdered still pisses me off because I grew up within walking distance of that Domino's and Summit apartments.

The answer is that for whatever reason, the digital world is a mountain of red herrings distorting and disrupting informed observation. The laziest way to do it would be that an influencer who has faked their death multiple times for clicks is murdered for real, and their dipshit following is muddying all possible genuine search ability with "We did it Reddit!" mass broadcasted armchair investigation. Even better if there is an "influencer detective" condensing the phenomenon.

A person experimenting with recipes might have invested dozens or hundreds of hours in it and wants the prestige.
Alternatively, it might be something like it being the literal recipe on the box or in an ad works and there is modest shame in just using Betty Crocker or whatever (Always loved this on reddit- https://old.reddit.com/r/BestofRedditorUpdates/comments/so19qf/cake_maker_doesnt_make_hers_from_scratch_but_lies/ )
Mostly I think of this as a thing grandmothers do because their own memories of childhood are somewhat faded, but their (reconstructed?) memory of their own grandmother telling them a secret recipe at age 9 is sharp, happy and resulted in bonding moment. It's a nonconsequential responsibility you can give to a child.

Fox News just has a weird relationship with youtube in terms of their clips being uploaded by random people more often than others. Their actual youtube channel isn't meant to convey news, but is more spicy 2-5 minute clips that are uploaded every few hours for virality potential.
They also try a bit harder to promote their app to audience, and it doesn't seem to have failed like CNN's did 6 month ago.
They have news shows which are more general, but with unsubtle conservative slant (and most conservative Americans would say the other cable news channels are unsubtle about liberal/progressive slant), but there are also opinion shows which get the most ratings and are more focused on US politics.

Confidence will make you more attractive. I'd suggest diet, sleep schedule, a bodybuilding routine, dance and improv classes, getting your clothes altered to fit, talking with career consultant and possibly a stylist, joining a religious community or volunteer organization before extreme hobbies.
I too want to do really intense shit in Alaska, but more Alone in the Wilderness style cabin build, hunting and gardening.

He was able to go to Officer Candidate School based on his ASVAB [standardized test score].

You could try watching 3 Kingdoms from 2010 or other adaptations? Putting a unique face, costume and demeanor to a character helped me a lot.
Have you tried Mother of Learning? I enjoyed it more than Practical Guide to Evil or Wandering Inn. A few stylistic hiccoughs in the early parts, and a few pacing issues in the middle, but great overall in my opinion.
While not a novel, Alone in the Wilderness is a great outdoorsman autobiographical documentary.

You have not defined ambition and that is annoying to me.
Looking at various definitions of ambition. There is "a strong wish to achieve something" which, I suppose when put into action might be called "Drive".
There is also "a strong wish to be successful, powerful, rich, etc." which is possibly closer to the idea you are debunking, except you're doing it by saying that successful/powerful/rich/etc. is highly relative. I think few would disagree.
I do not think your introduced terminology/acronyms adds anything and that is annoying to me as well.

How come, despite having a huge population of marks, we don't seem to have a dedicated scammer class in the U.S. like they do in Europe?
For the amount of effort they put into scams, they would legitimately make more money working a typical sales job in the US. Also MLM exists here and scams do happen in tourist heavy urban cores like in NYC.

From personal experience, going to jail for a very brief period was useful in confirming my edgy teen high school suspicions- "This place is bullshit, I bet jail is literally better than this."- jail was substantially better than a similar amount of time in high school. If you don't start shit with anyone and are vaguely polite to guards (don't be an ass kisser or snitch though), you can spend your time lying down on a shitty mat, read {Bible} or other provided material and just kinda chill.
P.S. Cumulative Uber/Lyft/Taxis over decades are almost certainly cheaper and easier to deal with than any given best-case first-time-offense DUI deferral/diversion program and eventual expungement. If you must be arrested, preferably do something cool or brave or sexy with near zero chance of harming innocents instead of something lame and stupid.

You're absolutely correct that no credit mix = no 850, the actual perfect score.
But my understanding is that above 760 there aren't any better rates or other perks, it's just a nicer cushion.
Auto loan is certainly possible with parental cosigner.
Mortgage is kinda wacky but could be done with parental cosigner with the kid still living with parents but landlording to pay mortgage. Down payment on a house would certainly be worth more than covering tuition at most colleges/most subjects, even if housing is in a bit of a bubble and rates are ass.

When there are available other ways to provide resources and methods to keep the baby alive, and the court and hospital refuse and actively fight against it, that is exactly the same as killing the baby.
It would be more honest if the court and hospital directly argued in your manner that the parents are torturing the baby in keeping the baby alive. The have chosen instead to argue that more treatment is not in the baby's best interest, and just leave conclusions obvious but nebulous.
