Considering the lenghts they and their allies went to discredit any other viewpoint for something on the level of an Influenza, it could be argued that at the very least they are incompetent. But if we take in consideration:
1.- The level of coordination between the parties (intended or unintended as part of the Protect the Narrative campaign)
2.- That there is a high chance Ecohealth efforts and by proxi Faucci's whole cabal are indirectly responsible for the pandemic
3.- That even after it was grokked out that it wasn't Ebola or the Black Death in airborne form, the mayority of the catedral refused to actualize priors.
4.- And that we will never know the why, how and when of the Pandemic due to the collusion of the Chinese CCP and gain of function establishment.
I would say that yeah, at least indirectly responsible of mass murder. And that is without taking into account the Nursery homes murders in New York and elsewhere (Minesota I think) and events like that. There wasn't self policing, just like with any other progressive cause as of late. Just an intransigency to give an inch on any front.

Why do we have such empathy for evil people but effectively zero empathy for good people who had to endure the wrongs brought about by evil people?
the identification with evil is a recurring theme that surges periodically on social media, be it orcs in D&D, Bugs in starship troopers or Demons in Devil May Cry. At some point it becomes obvious that we don't share any more fundamental values that would enable coexistance.

Well, I'm sorry to say that the deal was struck already and it doesn't matter your feelings on the subject. I honestly abhor it as anything else feminist but I can't do anything about it, so you are incorrect in that I agreed to this deal.
Notice I'm only saying how it is, I'm not prescribing or advocating here.
If you don't agree to the deal that is fine and your right, but recognize that it will be difficult if not impossible to void as it was made by society at large and a single individual won't affect it.

I would assume the love your neighbor bit refers to if not same etnicity, at least the near group.
Wealthy people fleeing persecution can take care of themselves, the money is largely useful for the poor (and persecuted yes).
I don't think money will save you from a government that wants you death or destitute.

If the choice is a 5-10 year wait or hop the fence, I don’t think you can act shocked when a lot of people jump the fence.
there are people that have no path to inmigrate legaly to the US, be that a 5-10 year wait list or 2 weeks, and that their only way forward is through fence hopping. Think gang members, non-skilled people, minors, etc. the only way to stop them is going to be enforcing the border one way or another.

Isn't being demonized and being in the bottom of the totem pole mean being unrepresented (and even being openly antagonized)? after all, it's not like there will be a moment in time when there isn't something than a prioritized group will want/need, that she can point to and use as an excuse for why she doesn't attend to the white devils needs?.
Functionally it looks to me as the same as being unrepresented, but with a dangling carrot forever out of reach.

Can we get the mods to please ban the troll accounts posting inflamatory content in the CWT as top level posts and deleting them after a few responses?. There are already two instances of new accounts doing it so far, and I think it would be in our best interest if the practice is heavily discouraged.

I get the feeling that a lot of these people wanted to speak up more loudly sooner, but it was only once progressives were properly on the back foot that they felt empowered to do so.
that sounds like cowardice, that they were unwilling to breach the party line, up until the catastrophe befell them and everyone was scrambling, like a chicken with its head cut off, asking what happened. Personally I would look for the lefties that didn't care to be excommunicated from the party and searched for the truth. After all, what good is a yes man?.

Hollywood is very woke. They like to make woke movies. They also like to make money. I submit they like to make money more than they like being woke (at least the really important people, the people who make money decisions, do).
If that were true there wouldn't have been a rural purge of television programs in the 70's. In view of this, I don't think you can or know how to model the mindset of the "really important people, the people who make money decisions" and I posit that it's in your best interest to update your priors to the more reasonable takes expressed in the thread.
