The US is probably pushing 200k suicides, drug overdoses, and murders per years. Let’s just say 300 million Americans slightly low or 1 in 1500 people. Over 80 year lifespan it means about 1 in 20 people will die voluntarily. You want to tell me liberalism doesn’t suck and there isn’t something deeply flawed with it?
IMO I probably am not advocating for an actual theocracy but something like earlier America. Something more like Utah with a powerful embedded Church and strong social norms. But that might not be stable.

Agree. After posting this then reading more. Here’s my gut feeling for what happened.
The victim raised his gun a little and talked a little tough. The shooter probably didn’t actually fear for his life but saw the opportunity to shoot and claim self defense. The victim may have actually fully pointed his gun at the shooter.
I think either legally or in the eyes of god this guy did murder someone without an excuse but legally might be not guilty.
I just have a feeling this guy was shooting the second he thought he had a legal right to as oppose to not wanting to shoot.
I said in my initial thing a lot of the problems here is the state abdicating their monopoly on violence.

The NATO fear (which is irrational) dates back centuries. I also never said it was genetic. It’s cultural and educationally transmitted.
There’s no evidence Donbas wanted to join Russia. There’s never been independent not occupied votes.
Let’s remember Germany was spending like 1.3% of gdp on defense. Those areas that could have been “invasion” threats had already decided to unilaterally disarm.

I read an article from Zerohedge recently that listed a bunch of conspiracy theories that will be proven true on 2023. After well every conspiracy theory last year seems to have been proven true. I can’t find the article right now. I read thru their list and thought all the conspiracies were dumb and basically every conspiracy theory that seemed to be likely true has already been proven true.
I have two questions?

What conspiracy theories still exists that haven’t moved into the >50% now think is likely true.

Presuppose theirs a potential snitch who has all the documents and proof to show the world that the conspiracy your running in fact does exists. Is there any reason to kill him or you should just let the culture war battle happen and not worry about going to jail etc.
Maybe my mind isn’t curious enough to see new conspiracies but it does feel like a lot of them were checkmarked true the last year.

I don’t see indisputable evidence he’s morally or intellectually wrong here. He went to far for sure but he’s fundamentally correct about the issues of your school shootings as a political opportunity to take away gun rights. In this area I believe he’s morally and intellectually in the right.
He’s should pay out a little bit on this because he went too far but morally he’s on my side and not the side I find troubling of politicizing school shootings.
Trumps not going to lose this war. He will escalate to deescalate. It’s either going to end up frozen on current lines or American AirPower shreds the Russians.
Bidens been doing his typical Biden shit and screwing things up. He has had approval to send more weapons and has not. His people are afraid of escalation when the only thing Russians know is power.
Russian apologists will say Trump can’t do this. He’s not going to start his next administration losing a war. Winning a war gets all the neocons back on team Trump and kills all the lefts mythology of Trump being a Russian agent. Ukranians can fight the Russians to a standstill which is nothing compared to modern American military hardware and training. Send in some Polish ground forces backed by US air and the wars over in a month.

Yes your experiment sounds bad. But it’s not what is happening.
Alternatively what if White S Africans took power back. Due to HBD factors they grew the economy significantly. To the point that a laborer is S Africa could make 5X his wage in S Africa versus the country next door. For all intents and purposes he’s a lower class S African with low status but his standard of living is fairly high.
This is closer to the truth of what Israel is offering Palestinians.

The imbalance in power has no evidence. Workers in most industries especially ones that are no or semi-skilled (can retrain in a short time) have hundreds of thousands of potential employers fighting for their labor.

Can you explain to me how a 2-state solution would solve Israel’s issues in the Middle East. This all started because Palestine attacked Israel. Israel then counter-attacked. Iran wanted to mess with the Saudis and armed Houthis to attack Americans.
To be honest this war doesn’t even have anything to do with the Jews. It’s a Saudi-Iran proxy war.
And if we do a 2-state solution and Israel isn’t allowed to fight back what is your proposal?

I no longer believe that. Within reason free speech is fine. If it threatens everything else then I don’t.
I’ve said before and maybe got a ban for it but I had no problem with Chile killing all the communists. And that made them the richest country south of us. I’m fine with saying free speech is good within our culture. I’m fine with free speech for people who don’t threaten the state. I got no love of free speech that Can conquor me.

There are things I value more than free speech. I don’t have a problem with a lot of things America did in third world countries to limit communism. Sure you can argue I’m giving you a false choice but I’m not positive it’s a false choice.

I think both description of Reagan are correct. “Greatest” doesn’t mean best or good. I’m reminded that I can’t go into a sub neoliberal without being banned shortly and Reagan was the politician who implemented neoliberalism. For 35 years (1/3 of a century) every major politician had to describe themselves as a neoliberal. I do think that qualifies as great. I hate FDR but I wouldn’t have an issue describing him as great.

I think the bias on Wikipedia shows up in this random paragraph in Obamas Wikipedia.
“The acquittal of George Zimmerman following the killing of Trayvon Martin sparked national outrage, leading to Obama giving a speech in which he noted that "Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago."
How would we rewrite this paragraph in a neutral or conservative way. Some of it is information not included.
Here is my attempt: “The acquittal of George Zimmerman on the grounds of self defense in the death of Trayvon Martin sparked outrage in some communities. Leading the Obama administration to govern under BLM protest.”
Adding the reason for acquittal “self defense” seems more neutral to me instead of leading the reader to assume it was just racism. Took away the national part because it seemed to imply everyone agrees with that assessment. Took out the Obama quote because it implies the kid did nothing wrong (unless we should assume Obama picked fights like that). The use of the word “killing” to me implies a lot more guilt of criminal murder so I removed that.
The Wikipedia article is accurate on this point but the information you include or exclude would lead the reader to make much different conclusions.
There is a difference between support for Gaza and support for Hamas? I thought they won an election.
