Spurred on by a recent mention here, I tried LMArena. What is this myrion model that wrote the most adequate fanfic scene from a dozen attempts on the same prompt? Is it that situation where beta versions from frontier labs feature pseudonymously? But when I heard about such events, it was about mysterious strangers dominating leaderboards, and I can't find it in the leaderboard either. Am I hallucinating? Am I an LLM myself?

I wholeheartedly recommend that you do as I did, and gradually isolate yourself from interacting with absolutely everybody, except for the cases where one of you or both are acting in a professional capacity. (For context: I am recommending it because I'm a misogynist.)

It's been a decade since I last played Stellaris, but this is still stuck in my craw. When a fleet sent to annihilate a civilization of dozens of stars gets stopped by neobarbs who just reached the orbit of their planet and promptly declared their space off limits, it should not be the only two options to abandon the plan or to exterminate the neobarbs. That's not how any of it works.

Today in how my personal and familial slide into kind of being poor, which is abject poverty by the standards of this forum, makes me suicidal. My elderly beloved formerly expensive car, one of the last vestiges of the previous life, needs extensive costly bodyworks, with the necessity likely facilitated by my neglect. In some ways I feel my failures towards her (I'm using the ship custom here) more sharply than towards people.
